Plot:	A man wakes in an empty suburban house with no memory and blood smeared on his arm. As he frantically washes off the blood, he discovers that it is not his. He finds sticky notes around the house that read: “Don’t stay in this room.” “Don’t go outside.” “Don’t go downstairs.” Confused, he tries to follow the cryptic messages, ultimately discovering two things. Memories of a mother and daughter that he is somehow connected with, and also a demonic presence living in this suburban house. As he gets closer to solving the mystery of why he is there, the demon grows stronger, testing his will to survive.

1- I know what you’re thinking. Another week, another Nic Cage film. Another trailer that seems to promise the lunacy of the Cage that we so deeply crave in our bones but will probably fail to deliver right? We have been burned so many times before.

2- After listening to the interview with the director, I have to say for all the obstacles they had to go over and all the things that could have stopped this film I am quite happy to see what came of it and to learn of all the people who gave their time and clothes (that iconic red jacket) to make this movie possible….even tho it was supposed to take place in New York in winter!
